WELCOME TO THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park spans the mountain boundaries of both Tennessee and North Carolina and covers more than a half-million acres of unspoiled vegetation, abundant wildlife and great hiking opportunities. The Smoky Mountains National Park surrounded Gatlinburg and is just minutes from Glenstone Lodge.

THERE’S SO MUCH TO DO HERE
While the beauty of Gatlinburg’s natural surroundings brings most people to the city, there are a wide variety of Gatlinburg attractions—both indoor and outdoor—that keep visitors coming back.

AUTO TOURING
The auto-touring trails are designed along the wagon trails that the settlers of the region used and allow you to see the structures and environment they may have experienced in the comfort to your car.
bicycling
Bicycle paths can be found throughout the Park. Trails run along streams and rivers, making it a great way to see the sites.
Fishing
Bass to trout, traditional fishing to fly-fishing, the Smokies have some great areas to fish.
HIKING
This is one of the top activities in the Smokies. Hiking trails of every difficulty cover the landscape. Meandering day hikes to intense hikes that last several days.
picnicking
Eating outdoors and enjoying your friends and family in nature’s beautiful setting.
waterfalls
Waterfalls – small gently rolling cascades and plunging waterfalls are easy to find.
wildlife
Bears, birds, deer and elk are in huge demand and they do not disappoint. The wildlife habitat is something that should not be missed.
